Southern Cross

Incitec Pivot's trading arm, Southern Cross International, markets products from the Company's manufacturing plants, trades in products manufactured by other fertiliser manufacturers and procures raw materials for Incitec Pivot's manufacturing plants.

Southern Cross International is focused on sales to Australian distributors and importers of fertilisers as well as exporters to Asia Pacific, the Indian sub-continent, Indo China and Latin America.

Southern Cross International is complemented by the recently purchased majority shareholding in Quantum Fertilisers (www.quantumfertilisers.com), a Hong Kong-based fertiliser trading business. Quantum Fertilisers is expected to further expand the company's ability to procure raw materials for its manufacturing facilities and sell manufactured fertiliser products into international markets.  Quantum Fertilisers is expected to broaden the geographic exposure of Incitec Pivot Limited's international chemicals trading business.
