Fertiliser production not affected
Fertiliser production by Incitec Pivot Limited has not been affected by the disruption to gas supplies.
The company said today its major gas-consuming plant - for manufacturing ammonia and urea in Brisbane - was supplied from the Ballera gas field in Queensland and was not affected by the fire at the Moomba field in South Australia.
"All our plants are operating normally," said a spokesman for Incitec Pivot.
